Me Wearing Purple
When and if I ever get pregnant,

I shall be obnoxious.

With maternity clothes at four weeks, that say "and baby makes three"

And I shall engage others in conversations, that are all about me

I'll have baby showers galore, and always want more

I will paint a pretty nursery, and the baby will want for naught

I shall be polite and strict, and brag about our tot

When the tot turns to teen, I will be the queen

For when he gets older, I will never have to clean

I will not hear complaints of siblings, or anything else he might have missed

For when my tot is a teen, I will be getting my ass kissed

For if it not for me,

.....................................he might never have breathed.

Kiss your ass indeed! And wash your feet and fetch your dinner!
If he is ever an incorrigible brat, you can show him pictures of all of his embie siblings that you suffered through to have him. Wishing so much for you, Julianna

Amen sister. Now, what color hats do we wear?

(I'm totally with you on the early maternity clothes - I dress to avoid looking pregnant right now, and can't wait to have something to show.)

you write so well julianna and i love reading your blog.
your blog interests me greatly although the chief subject is something i don't really share in.
i never wanted children because i'm selfish but i wound up with two lovely kids.
but you explain the condition to me in a way that i can understand and sympathise (rather than empathise) with.

love and luck and have a wonderful day,
h.

You'll be lucky if a teenager ever did that.
And what henry said.
My very best wishes to you.

Oh, but maternity clothes really are ugly. Still, I'd love another chance to wear them--this time for more than a few weeks.

Take care--hope your appt. goes well with the new RE.

I've already picked out my "I Love My Buddah Belly" shirt. Shall I pick one up for you as well?
